Title: Charlie and Dons' Dispute, Elizabeth 4

Summary: Takes place about 1 year since Elizabeth and Charlie have been dating. Don gets some surprising news that he's not sure if he wanted to hear. Sorry this one's really short.

"I wonder why Charlie wanted me to come over so bad? I mean what would he need to talk to me about?" Don said as he was driving to his brothers house. Very rarely would Charlie invite Don to his house and when he did it was never for something he needed to talk with him about. As don pulled up to the driveway he saw into one of the windows and it looked as if his little brother was pacing back and forth in front of the window. "What the heck is he doing?" He thought to himself.
"Charlie, I'm here what did you need to talk about?"
Charlie bounded down the stairs over to his brother. "Good you're here I was beginning to think you wern't coming but anyway let's get to the point shall we. See I've been thinking....." Charlie waas talking at lightning speed and Don couldn't anderstand a word he was saying.
"Charlie....."
"I was wanting your opinion on this......"
"CHARLIE!..." He had to yell it cause his brother was still rambling on.
Charlie looked up frightended by his brothers reaction.
"Oh....so you don't like that idea huh?"
"Charlie I have no stinking clue what you just said. Would you slow down please!"
"Sorry for rambling on I'm just nervous that's all."
"What's there for you to be nervous about?" Don was quite confused.
"I already told you, I'm invitng Elizabeth over to ask her to marry me."
"Well I would have heard you if...WHAT!!!!" The line his brother just said ws ringing in Dons ears. "How long have you been thiking about this!?" Don was doing his best to calm down.
"For a couple of months now." Charlie didn't think Don was being to reasonable. I mean Elizabeth liked him not Don. "what are you so mad about.....Are you jealous that Elizabeth likes me not you?!"
Don sat in silence not wanting to answer that question.
"Uh huh I knew you're mad well deal with I'm calling for her right now."
Don got up and started to leave but turned around.
"Congratulations Charlie, I hope she says yes."
All Charlie could do was look at his big brother and smile as he walked out the door.
