By the time the briefing rolled around, David and Colby had managed to check on two more nmaes on their list and obtain DNA samples to test.
"Right now the autopsy results on the latest victim are still pending. Although it's more than likely she'll be number ten on the list," Don said as soon as the taskforce members had taken their sets at the conference table.
"Any leads yet?" rookie agent Rikki Barker asked.
Don glanced at her and replied, "Nothing solid. You and Agent Jones can work on the commonalities between the victims. As you know victim number one, Angela Dye was taken from a park near her home. Each girl has vanished from different places, different imes of the day. We have a tenative ID for number ten--Amira Sanhir. She vanished on the twelth while riding her bike to Ridgecrest academy. However we're still waiting on the DNA results to make a positive ID."
"While we wait for the positive ID Colby and I will see what we can find out about the Sanhir girl," David said.
"I don't have to tell you that if we don't stop this guy he's going to kill again and soon. He's already accerating the time period between victims," Don stated.
Once the briefing broke up, the agents headed their sepearte ways. Baker and Jones were going over the backgrounds of each victim with a fine toothed comb, searching for any connection between the victims. No matter how tenous it could be. Although the girls came from different backgrounds, different schools and different parts of the city, they did attend dance classes. The first four victims had atteneded the Fancy Feet Dance Academy and the rest By Grace School of Dance. Now they were waiting to see if the latest victim attended either school or a different one. It wasn't the strongest link between the victims but it was the only one so far. And a reason to dig deeper.
